A few words before viewing the images below may be helpful.
These images are not meant as art pieces .
They're proof-of-concept early design drafts - very basic, like a quick sketch.
They're made by shamelessly compositing landscape pics with the rendered model of Gaea.
Simple photoshop filters downgrade both images, blending them in an effort to 'see' the terrain.

This is a quick painting I did of the good Captain as she enters the hub at the end of Titan
